Our Story
Ino Scarf Boutique opened on November 19, 2016, at Mueller, Austin, TX and inoCollection.com.
I am lucky to have an opportunity to share my lifelong passion for scarves with my own handmade collection.
The premier line of scarves, Gigi, is the product of collaboration with my mother, Gungor. We blended the needlework from ancient Anatolia with modern silk fabric to produce a scarf that transcends time. Ino's additional lines - Boho, Sophisto, and Swerve - express youthful energy and sophisticated refinement.
The name, Ino, is inspired by Homer's The Odyssey. Ino, as sea-goddess Leucothea, saves Odysseus from drowning at sea by offering him her enchanted scarf that keeps him afloat.
